Comme Ca Art to Showcase Local Artists Citywide, Summer 2008
Comme Ca is proud to introduce the Manchester ArtMap. Throughout the Summer of 2008 Comme Ca Art will be installing artworks in various locations. An ArtMap will be created so visitors and people of the city can take a tour of local art all over Manchester.
Visitors will be free to navigate the city as they wish, using the map as a reference point to visiting whatever they are near, whenever it suits their pace. Featuring locations with unfettered visual access-such as coffee shops, store windows and office spaces-the artworks can be viewed conveniently by everyone at almost anytime.
ArtMap will be printed and will be featured on line on our web site so if you are anywhere with an internet connection you can access it. Not only will you be able to access where the artworks are located but also more information about individual artists and the art scene in Manchester. Any updates and new installations of artworks will be included so the online ArtMap will be your guide to the Art of Manchester.
Comme Ca is concerned with supporting the work of local artists and encouraging people to look at art as part of their everyday lives, showing that there is something that everyone can enjoy.
We aim to match all works of art appropriately to the place they are situated within so that the benefits of the artwork enhance their visual environment. We want to show that there really is a piece of art to suit every business and company environment.

Comme Ca Art
Having received a large number of enquiries from aspiring collectors about releasing Limited Edition artworks, Comme Ca Art has invited a number of artists to become part of the Comme Ca Art Limited Edition Print Collection.
The Collection will open with artworks by 10 artists, some artists are new to Comme Ca and some have an established working relationship with Comme Ca. The works include Limited Edition Etchings by Andrew George Magee and John Hamilton, Computer Generated Drawings by Wendy Jones and Gareth Morgan, Digital Photographic works by the Little Artists and Mark Winkley and Limited Edition Lambda prints from a direct scan of original paintings by Martin Nash and Simon Taylor.
The Collection aims to reveal a number of ways in which artworks can be processed through hand made or high tech mediums, ensuring quality and originality throughout. Comme Ca has endeavoured to show the images in a true light. This of course will depend on the computer screen you are viewing the images from and in some cases, the colour, tone or vibrancy of the Limited Editions may look different in real life from the web site shop images.
The Limited Editions are already proving to be a worthwhile investment, The Little Artists prints have gone up in value from £75 to £125 per print in the last few weeks! Go on treat yourself!
