ROBERT WALKER

Robert Walker has been a professional photographer since 1980.

​

Working mainly for advertising clients such as Olympus, Mercedes, Reebok and The Royal Mail, producing a set of stamps to celebrate British Cinema. 

​

In 2007 he reached a crossroads in his life and decided to concentrate purely on personal work and has since been developing

an understated observational style. 

​

"Being freed from the confines of the commercial world has given me time to be more curious."

​

He has exhibited widely including group exhibitions in New York, Frankfurt and London, as well as 3 solo shows with Comme Ca Art. His largest project to date has been documenting the area around Dungeness which formed his

'Fifth Continent" show at Touchstones Gallery.

A career highlight was having pieces selected for the permanent collection at The National Portrait Gallery, London.
