We had a lot of fun installing the Lowry Hotel Summer Exhibition. The exhibition features paintings by three very different artists, all of who are at the top of their game.

 

BIG H wowed the Lowry Hotel guests earlier this year with his solo exhibition. This time BIG H has concentrated on a new series of works looking at iconic graffiti emblems and mixing them with his own unique take on popular culture. In one painting, a Storm Trouper shelters under a pink umbrella whilst in another painting Mickey Mouse and Ronald McDonald hold hands with a Banksy-eque  Monkey.

 

Rebecca Davy continues to inspire awe in her photorealistic paintings, this time concentrating on mouth watering slices of Cherry Pie and wobbly jellies decorated with fresh cream and a cherry on top. Her paintings really are almost good enough to eat.

 

Hannah Wooll’s luminescent paintings offer glimpses into ethereal worlds where her feminine figures tell their own stories in her stunningly beautiful colour palates. We could stare into Hannah’s paintings for hours.
