COMME CA ART | ELEVEN ARTISTS EXHIBITION
PAINTING | PHOTOGRAPHY | SCULPTURE | LIGHT INSTALLATIONS
in conjunction with AWOL STUDIOS Open Evening at HOPE MILL
On the 11.11.16 AWOL Artist Studios will open their doors to celebrate their 11th Year at Hope Mill in Ancoats. Not one to miss out on a celebration, we decided to join in by creating a multi-discipline Art Exhibition in our 5th Floor Gallery to celebrate our 1st Year at Hope Mill!
Alongside great landscape, portrait and photorealist painters, Susan Aggarwal, Paul Bennett, Simon Taylor and Stefanie Trow you’ll see Katherine Beefheart’s ‘sweary’ embroidery, Hannah Wooll’s ‘found object’ sculptural paintings, photographs from Robert Walker’s ‘Fifth Continent’ series, Rebecca Davy’s teeny tiny ‘candy’ paintings, Andrew Magee’s stunning multi-layer screen-prints and two unbelievably fabulous installation artists; Jacqui Symons & Richard Dawson have collaborated on a series of sculptural chairs and Papi from Tatt Lights will be illuminating the gallery with his light sculptures.
It’s going to be the most spectacularly eclectic exhibition you ever did see!
The exhibition will open on Friday 11th November 2016 from 6-10pm and will continue on Saturday 12th November from 12-4pm.
