ROB LENIHAN

Rob Lenihan produces art in a variety of forms and materials ranging from porcelain and resin to mixed media on canvas. He has a long history of producing in an urban aesthetic having started his creative journey as a graffiti artist in the mid 80’s. He then went on to study fine art and his work is layered with influences from several genres of art.

The content of his work deals with the transition between youth and adulthood and the challenges faced straddling both worlds simultaneously. He sees this transition as the catalyst for facing big life questions of existence and purpose and using multiple visual layers he is able to manifest powerful narratives underpinned by his own lived experience, including those that can be found his book ‘The Secret Sun’ which is due to be released in 2022.

Rob has exhibited across the UK and has pieces in private collections across the globe.
